Special Needs Support Group For Parents and Caregivers in CS

I've noticed Colorado Springs does not offer many opportunities for parents and caregivers of special needs individuals to connect. That is what this group is all about!

Here you will find support from fellow members who also share in the highs and lows of care giving. There is also a message board that allows members to share their situations, resources, support, and ideas.

The chance to build friendships are right around the corner! It's so hard to meet people when your giving so much of yourself....Here is an opportunity to change that! Being a member means being supportive of each other, listening, sharing resources, advice, and just being YOU!

I'm in the process of having businesses sponsor our group. My Gym and Artsports owners are being kind enough to help sponsor our group, as well as offering an array of activities for any special needs children and their families. Note:They are a business, so there will be a fee per event to cover their costs.

As we begin to grow...more and more opportunities and resources will become available. We want to be able to support not only the caregivers, but those they care for too!
