Special needs kids and the parents who adore them!
|
Meet other local Parents of Children with Special Needs, regardless of diagnosis. Gather for support, advice, and of course time for our little ones to get together and play. We will surely have regular playgroup dates but we will also focus on becoming more knowledgable about our childs Diagnosis and support local events that are geared towards special need children. Also we will plan parents night out, we need a break too don't we? This group is geared towards fun loving parents that just want our kids to have as much of a normal social interaction as possible. Who can understand your child better than another special needs child? If your child has a minor diagnosis or a severe diagnosis it doesn't matter to us, we are all going through the same struggle. We want to make life long friends for our children and ourselves. Join us, you won't regret it and your child will thank you for it.

"Nutritionsmart is on Northlake blvd in Lake Park. Maybe you can hit it on your way to/from the CARD meeting. When you get off I95 you go west about 2 blocks and it is on your right side next to ABC liquor. They have great stuff there. Good luck!"
-
"Hi again! I'll be at the CARD conference in Jupiter on Saturday. I'll take good notes and pass them on. Thanks for the info; Amanda doesn't eat most of the food you mentioned. But it's all GFCF too. Where is nutritionsmart? I could use some snacks and a good cereal to replace her Cheerios. The only chicken she seems to like is the Chick-fil-a grilled chicken. Breakfast is our best meal. We use the Namaste pancake mix; I add mashed banana and some sugar. Loves it. Running out of space!"
